Our Response to COVID-19

Our Response to COVID-19

With these unusual times upon us, we are grateful to still be able to remain open and operate fairly normally, with a few adjustments. We’ve outlined some of the measures we have taken in our response to COVID-19, to continue to provide our quality service, whilst protecting our customers and staff.

Education

We took it upon ourselves to complete the online training course ‘COVID-19 Infection Control Training’ (usually aimed at Health care workers and providers) which provides information on infection prevention. We wanted to ensure we were doing everything in our power to keep a hygienic and safe work environment; both for our customers and ourselves.

Sanitising

At Burleigh’s Mobile Mechanic, we are taking extra precautions with our handwashing practises, and have taken the extra measure to sanitise surfaces. We use a high-grade disinfectant to sanitise the office space after each customer visit. We sanitise the vehicle’s keys, and every touch surface within the vehicle (steering wheel, gear stick, door handles etc) when we receive the vehicle. We then repeat this process when we complete the service or repairs and return the vehicle to the customer.

Mobile Service, Pick-up & Drop-off Service

We normally provide a mobile service as part of our regular business operating model. However, sometimes a vehicle needs to be taken back to the workshop, where we have the added benefit of use of the hoists, disc rotor machine, tyre changer, etc. Sometimes it is simply that the repairs will take that extra time. Customers are still welcome to drop their car at the workshop, or we can conveniently pick up your car and drop it back once work is completed- all with minimal contact. We can even take payment over the phone.

Service you can Trust

Even though you may not be driving your car as much these days, it is important you don’t put off your scheduled service, or ignore that strange noise or small issue. The last thing you want is that small issue turning into a larger, more extensive problem that could have been prevented. When you go to drive your car, you want to be rest assured it is in tip-top shape and safe to drive. We want to keep your car on the road; now is not the time to rely on public transport! If you have any questions about how we are dealing with COVID-19, or would like to book in for a service or repairs; call us on 0412 161 776 & speak to one of our friendly and qualified mechanics. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook for more information, tips and specials.
